Hello and welcome to my web site.

I hope you will take some time to read over the few pages of information I have developed to tell my story of how the whole craze of my poem titled When You Thought I Wasn't Looking has become a national phenomenon.

Initially I discovered my poem published anonymously in A Fourth Course of Chicken Soup for the Soul (and subsequently corrected). Since that shocking moment in 1997, I have continued to realize the extent of its astonishing and unexpected journey.

When You Thought I Wasn't Looking has been put to song by Christian artist, Clint Elias, who hails from Alberta, Canada as well as Tammy Simister Robinson of Midvale, Utah.

My poem has found a home in many publications including these distinguished books: Staying Up Up Up in a Down Down World by Zig Ziglar; Stories for the Heart, Stories for the Family's Heart, A Pleasant Place, and Keepsakes for the Heart -- Mothers by Alice Gray; Learning to Love When Love Isn't Easy by David Walls; Mother O' Mine a Mother's Treasury by Mary Engelbreit; Moor or Less by Bill Moor and Love is Kind by Jeff Roberts. Of course, it is a great honor to be included in each of these projects.

People from all over the world have taken the time to tell me how my poem has touched their lives. That alone has been an incredible blessing. There is obvious truth in the wisdom, "that which is given from the heart comes back tenfold." It has been a pleasure to respond to all who have written. Hugs to you, all.

Most recently my poem, Friends Are Like the Sun has been published in Mary Engelbreit's book, The Blessings of Friendship. For me, the joy of writing continues and I hope to have my collection published someday. In the meantime, if you take a moment to explore my web site, I hope you will consider it time well spent. Blessings!

I would love to hear from you. My e-mail is taximom86@hotmail.com.
